This picture of Jonathan, one of my dance partners (who also happens to be my super boyfriend), and myself was taken by Erin Brethauer of the Asheville Citizen Times at the Wedding Festival this past weekend. What a whirlwind of a time, 400 brides, 5 hours- get where the title of this blog came from?
Jonathan and I had a great time helping spread the word that there's a wedding dance choreographer in town. People were definitely surprised and excited to see our booth. Unlike the dozens of photographers there we had no competition!
We did a dance I choreographed to Etta James' song At Last every hour we were there. I can't say dancing in a 10 x 10 square is my favorite way to dance but we definitely made it work. We plan on videotaping it soon and putting it on the site. We also gave away a dance to one lucky couple!
This week I met with a couple to help them with their First Dance. More on that later, shhhhh. . . .
it's a surprise for their guests.
